Support Slung Low

Slung Low has been lucky enough to be supported by a great number of people who have found something in the work we do and the way we do it. We are supported by the Arts Council to run the HUB and develop new ideas and shows with partners who can help produce those events with us. That support is very important to us.
We are also supported by individuals and groups in all sorts of ways; from people who have given Slung Low money to achieve a certain goal to those who have donated seeds to the Slung Low allotment or old furniture for the Holbeck Underground Ballroom.
If you would like to talk to us about supporting us, whether that be giving some time to the HUB or making a financial donation please do not hesitate to contact us at laura@slunglow.org

Slung Low is currently fund raising to turn one of the arches in the HUB into a studio that can be used by artists to share their work with the public. This is the main focus of our development work for 2011 and 2012.
Linda Nicklin is a key supporter of the creation of a studio at the HUB.

After seeing Mapping the City in Hull, I was keen to find out more about Slung Low’s work and explore how I could support them.
Their new studio development project at the HUB seemed the right way to help Slung Low and simultaneously support a range of artists experimenting with performance by providing a platform for the public to see and support new, original theatre.

For more information please email us, we’d love to talk to you about our future plans.

'I have put Holbeck in my address for the last two years but today was the first time I discovered the heart of it - I had no idea about the pubs, social clubs, quaint back to back terraces and history that makes up the real Holbeck, south of the canal.  A big thanks to Slung Low for opening my eyes to a place I have claimed to call home.'  - Audience Member
