Le Foulard (Art Show)

Starring a medley of characters, overwhelmed by a love of a show-stopping song and performed using only a scarf, this, Ladies and Gentlemen, is an Art Show, made with love by an idiot.

“Hopkins is fantastic”
Guardian

“High art has never been funnier”
The Age (Melbourne)

“A beautifully rendered show about the performances of the self, poised on a knife-edge between the comic and the poignant”
ABC Arts (Australia)

“Both an analysis of the subconscious disguised as slapstick comedy, and a terse satire on self-indulgence… Le Foulard represents a beautiful synthesis of intelligent experimental theatre and physical craft, even as it mocks its excesses”
The List

“Intelligent, poignant, damn funny and hugely entertaining” Adelaide Theatre Guide

“Gloriously pretentious” Fourthwall Magazine

“A hilariously fragmented hour of physical theatre, song and comedy… her immaculate movements sizzle with the best kind of suppressed energy” Exeunt Magazine

“This show is best experienced if you go in not really knowing what to expect. So stop reading and put it on your must-see list” Prague TV

'I have put Holbeck in my address for the last two years but today was the first time I discovered the heart of it - I had no idea about the pubs, social clubs, quaint back to back terraces and history that makes up the real Holbeck, south of the canal.  A big thanks to Slung Low for opening my eyes to a place I have claimed to call home.'  - Audience Member
