WILD CONFERENCE

Thinking about the cultural future we’re going to make together.

We are really excited to be creating Wild Conference with Arts Council, England.

We’re currently devising a space free of the usual distractions, usual frustrations, usual limitations. A space that encourages new thought, free thought, even we hope wild thought.

A space where all sorts of cultural leaders, thinkers and artists can come together to be inspired by speakers, by discussions, by tasks and by the glorious act of being outdoors and sitting around a bonfire thinking on important things.
That’s right. There’s going to be a bonfire.

We want the Wild Conference to be of wide interest and useful to as many people as possible. To achieve this we asked a Curation Panel to join the project to help think about what will be discussed and who will talk. Details of who is on the Curation Panel are below.

We’re making it now and we expect to be able to share the details with you at the end of January and let you know how to reserve a place.

In the meantime the best way to ensure that you hear about it first is to join this mailing list we’ve created especially and only for the Wild Conference here.

The Curation Panel members are-

Abigail Greenland: Co-Director Rash Dash.

Natalie Ibu: Artistic Director of Tiata Fahodzi.

David Cahill-Roots: an arts producer currently working for Wellcome Collection co-producing new work in performance and visual arts with partners across the country.

The photo above is of a project we did called Fairy Portal Camp with our friends at the RSC, Rash Dash, School of Night and other friends. We were really proud of the impact it had on audiences and participants. It's been a great inspiration as we think about Wild Conference and what sort of people would we be if we didn't make that clear at all times.
