Heather Fenoughty

Heather Fenoughty is an award-winning composer and sound designer for theatre, film, television, games and multimedia.

In previous years her music and sound design have appeared in the Slung Low productions Blood + Chocolate (2014), Pandemic (2012), Converging Paths (2012), Mapping The City (2011), Anthology (2010) Last Seen (2009), Beyond The Front Line (2009) and Helium (2008) and the 15 Minutes Live series. Other theatre credits include scores to The Count of Monte Cristo (2010) and ‘Tis Pity (2010) . Her music for Terre Haute (Nabokov, 2006-7) played on the West End and off Broadway. She also attended the Sundance Theatre Lab 2008 – by invitation from Punchdrunk Theatre – in Florida, USA, to help research and develop music for a new adaptation of Woyzeck.

Her television credits include scores for several feature films, documentaries and short films broadcast on BBC1, 2, 3, 4, CBBC and ITV1; she has worked on sound and music for nearly a hundred short films including the BAFTA-nominated ‘Nits’ (2004), and has won several awards for sound. Her commercial credits include several adverts for Nissan and her production library music has featured on The Daily Show, CNN and CBS News.

Heather has been Composer-in-Residence for the Arthur C. Clarke Awards since 2009, and creates exclusive production library tracks for Premiumbeat.
