Written by Mike Kenny, Blood and Chocolate was the tale of chocolate workers in the city of York during the first world war. An audience of 300 were led every night through a city transformed by set pieces and a cast of 180. The project had a team of over 600 volunteers working on every element of the show from mic-running to costume making. It sold out it’s 3 week run of performances and was critically acclaimed.
